KAVOR now has a full main story, The Grey Song, running from your first morning in Hearthmere to the gods on the Bifrost Heights. We wanted a saga that feels northern and lived-in: poor, practical people, dry jokes, and monsters that were once ordinary animals and ordinary dead.

The short version

Under everything lies the Kavor, the first stone, asleep. A song in no tongue has started to wake it, and stone that hears the song rises out of the ground and spills sung beasts. Somebody is singing it on purpose, and the trail leads north, chapter by chapter, region by region.

How it plays

  • Quests are offered, never forced: every one shows its rewards before you accept
  • Paged dialogue with narration between the lines
  • Side quests for the small, human problems people still have while the world ends
  • A choice near the end that decides how the story closes

Read the broad strokes on the new Saga page. We kept the big twists off it.
